Prior to becoming a nurse practitioner, she worked as a CNA in a long-term care setting beginning in high school (2005), then gained additional experience as a geriatric nurse. When asked why she chose to dedicate her career to the senior patient population, she responded, “I believe as a Practitioner, I am obligated to advocate for older adults.
